Brazilian fighter who competed at middleweight and light heavyweight, and a PRIDE Fighting Championships legend who holds its records for most wins, knockouts, and title defenses, including a reign as inaugural PRIDE Middleweight Champion. Known for an aggressive Muay Thai-based clinch style built on hooks and knees, he later fought in the UFC and Bellator before retiring in 2022.
